Senior Adult Emphasis

We believe that senior adults continue to be a vital part of every ministry.  The seniors have been faithful to our Lord and Savior through the years.  As the church continues to move in new ways, embracing a more contemporary approach to ministry, music continues its progression as well.  Although scripture invites us to "sing a new song," it also teaches us to "sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God".  We believe that the great hymns of the faith are included in this encouragement.

 

It is our belief that worshipers desire to worship our Lord in familiar ways and with familiar music.  That is why we emphasize more familiar songs while serving senior adult ministries - from afternoon hymn sings to Saturday morning brunches or afternoon banquets.  We desire to serve our "elder saints" and will design a program with your input.  Therefore, we welcome the opportunity to minister in song with your senior adult group.
